Young Children and Trauma: Service System Collaboration Series

Please join the NCTSN Learning Center for Child and Adolescent Trauma Zero to Six Collaborative Group for a series of online seminars describing how mental health professionals can engage with community service systems to facilitate identification and intervention with very young children who are affected by trauma, and to promote their behavioural health and social/emotional development.

In each webinar, speakers will describe a community system that impacts the lives of young children, addressing the context of the system and its impact on young children, as well as means to acheive effective collaborations within these systems.  Speakers will provide examples of effective collaborations, and will discuss appropriate tools and resources that have been used with community service systems to meet the needs of young children.

Series runs from December 2009 - September 2010.
